DualShot Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how DualShot, an iOS application operated by VitalApps Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), handles information about you when you use the app.

DualShot is a camera app that saves every photo and video in both vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats. It is designed to keep your captures on your device and to collect as little personal information as possible.

Permissions DualShot requests

To work, DualShot must request the following permissions. You can review or revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings.

• Camera: Required to capture photos and video using your iPhone's front and rear cameras. Without this permission, the app cannot function.
• Microphone: Required when you record video, so the captured video has audio.
• Photo Library (Add Only): Used only to save the photos and videos you capture into your Photos app. We do not read existing photos from your library.

What data DualShot stores

• Your captures: Photos and videos you take with DualShot are saved to your iOS Photos library and stay on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, ever.
• App settings: Layout preferences (side-by-side vs. picture-in-picture), aspect ratio, and other in-app settings are stored locally on your device.
• Subscription status: Whether you have an active DualShot Pro subscription, or bought DualShot before it became free, is checked on your device using Apple's StoreKit. We never receive payment details.

What data we collect from you

• Purchase history: When the subscription screen is shown, or you start, renew, restore or cancel a subscription, details of that purchase (the plan, price, currency and dates) are processed by our subscription providers, Superwall and RevenueCat, under an anonymous identifier. This lets the app know you have access and gives us anonymous sales statistics. It is not linked to your name or Apple ID and is never used for advertising or tracking.
• Basic device information: Alongside this, our subscription providers receive non-identifying device details such as iOS version, device model, language and region, and which subscription screens were shown.
• Crash and diagnostic data: If you choose to share analytics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated crash reports.

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, or any other personally identifiable information through DualShot.

Photos and videos

This is the most important point: your photos and videos never leave your device through DualShot. We do not upload them, view them, store them, analyse them, or share them with anyone. They are saved straight to your iOS Photos library, which is controlled by you and Apple.

Third-party services

DualShot uses two subscription services, which act as our service providers:

• Superwall shows the subscription screen and measures how it performs (superwall.com/privacy).
• RevenueCat records subscription status and sales statistics (revenuecat.com/privacy).

They only receive the purchase and device information described above. DualShot does not use advertising, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not ask for access to your advertising identifier.

In-app purchases

DualShot is free to download. Using the camera needs a DualShot Pro subscription (weekly, with a free trial, or yearly). If you bought DualShot before it became free, you keep full access at no cost. Payments are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card details, billing address, or Apple ID. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings.

Your rights

You can revoke camera, microphone, or photo permissions at any time in iOS Settings → DualShot. You can delete the app at any time, which removes all DualShot-related data from your device. Because your captures live in your Photos library, removing them is your choice and is done in the Photos app.

Children

DualShot is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
