1. Introduction
Relapsr ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by VitalApps Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use the Relapsr mobile application.
Relapsr is built to support your recovery, and protecting your privacy is part of that. By using Relapsr, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you choose to sign in or create a profile, we collect your name, username, and email address. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. You can use much of the app without creating an account.
Your Recovery Data
Streak data, quiz responses, journal entries, and your in-app preferences. This personal recovery data is stored locally on your device.
Purchase Information
If you subscribe, your subscription status is managed through the App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.
Device & Usage Information
Anonymous information about your device and aggregated, non-identifying usage data, used to improve app stability and experience.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the app's features
- To manage your account and subscription
- To send push notifications, only if you enable them
- To improve app performance and stability
We do not use your recovery data for advertising, profiling, or AI model training.
4. Data Storage & Security
On your device: Your streaks, quiz answers, journal entries, and preferences are stored locally on your device in Relapsr's app storage.
Account data: If you create an account, your name and email are held by Google Firebase Authentication so you can sign in across sessions.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Third-Party Services
To run the app, we rely on a small number of trusted providers:
- Google Firebase — authentication and app infrastructure
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
- App Store / Google Play Billing — payment processing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data is only shared with the providers above as needed to operate the app.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your recovery data remains on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Delete your account and all associated data from within the app
- Log out at any time
- Disable notifications
- Cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play
Uninstalling Relapsr removes all locally-stored data from your device.
7. Your Rights (UK / EEA Users)
If you are in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have rights under UK GDPR / EU GDPR, including the right to access, correct, erase, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly within the app. You may also lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk/.
8. Children's Privacy
Relapsr is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and posted in the app.
