Hey. I'm the person behind Vital Apps. A solo SwiftUI and iOS developer from London, shipping apps I actually believe in.
Vital Apps started with Frshly, a small food expiry tracker I built because I was tired of watching good food rot in my own fridge. It turned out a lot of other people felt the same way, and what began as a personal tool quickly became something much bigger.
From there, the studio grew. Vital Apps is no longer just about food waste, it's about building small, thoughtful iOS apps that help people live a little better in different corners of their lives. Tools for everyday problems, built natively in SwiftUI, designed to feel like they belong on your phone.
In 2025 I registered it as VitalApps Ltd, a proper UK company. Not to feel important, but so I could build things the right way: pay tax, stand behind what I ship, and make this something that could last.
I care about small software. Apps that do one thing cleanly, don't beg for your attention, don't track you, don't hassle you with upsells every three taps. The kind of apps you keep on your home screen for years because they just work.
More apps are in the works, across different areas, all with the same goal: help people, quietly. I'll ship them when they're ready, not before.
