Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use Relapsr?
No. You can track your streak and use the core features without an account. Signing in (with Google) lets you keep your profile across sessions and devices.
Where is my data stored?
Your recovery data — streaks, quiz answers, journal entries, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. If you create an account, your name and email are held by Firebase Authentication so you can sign in. See the Relapsr privacy policy for full details.
I lost my streak after reinstalling or switching phones.
Streak data lives on your device, so reinstalling or moving to a new phone can reset it. If this happens, email us — we'll do our best to help you get back on track.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account. Open your store account settings → Subscriptions → Relapsr → Cancel. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Relapsr → Settings → "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed in with the same store account you used to subscribe.
How do I delete my account and data?
In Relapsr, go to Settings and choose to delete your account — this removes your account and associated data. Uninstalling the app also removes everything stored on your device.
How do I turn notifications on or off?
You can manage reminders inside Relapsr's settings, and at the system level in your phone's Settings → Relapsr → Notifications.
Is Relapsr a substitute for professional help?
No. Relapsr is a self-help and tracking tool, not a substitute for medical or professional treatment. If you're in crisis or need support, please contact a healthcare provider or your local emergency services.
Where can I read your privacy policy?
See the Relapsr privacy policy for full details on what's collected, where it's stored, and your rights under UK / EU GDPR.
